The LY Travel Team, Lynchburg’s most elite swimmers, will be running a stroke clinic for LAL swimmers who are preparing for the summer. Swimmers will work on starts, turns, and finishes, as well as get some stroke technique instruction. PLEASE HELP UP SPREAD THE WORD TO YOUR SUMMER LEAGUE TEAM! LY swimmers may also participate in this clinic if they would like. Our last LY stroke clinic will be on Saturday, May 3rd, until we resume the new short course season in September.

WHERE: The Jamerson Family YMCA, 801 Wyndhurst Drive, Lynchburg VA 24502

WHEN: Saturday, May 10, 2008

Swimmers age 7-10 from 9:00am-10:00am

Swimmers age 11 and older from 10:00am – 11:30am

Participating swimmers should know at least two strokes and be able to swim two lengths of the pool.

COST: $20 for 10 & unders, $25 for 11 & older

WHAT TO BRING: Suit, goggles, and a towel.

If you are not a Y member, merely fill out a guest pass form and proceed to the pool. Fees will be collected on the pool deck.
